She laughed. Heartedly, wholly, and from the depths of her soul. She laughed and kept laughing because the man she loves has this ability to bring out a joy in her that stems to the deepest part of her. So she laughs. At him. At what he says. At his quirks. At the man that she can’t wait to spend the rest of her life with. And, if I am to guess correctly, I predict she will spend the rest of her life laughing at him and with him, this Prince Charming of hers who stole her heart.
Meet Nina & Michel.
Nina and Michel hail from Chicago . Chi-town, if you prefer. I booked them over the phone about 5 months ago, and since then I have been very eager to meet them. I knew that if Nina were half as sweet in person as she was over the phone, we would get along quite well. And sure enough, we did. If I remember correctly, when I met them in front of Legal Sea Foods in downtown Boston to do their engagement session, the first thing she said to me was “It is so great to finally meet you. OH MY GOSH, you are just so cute!!” Funny, I was thinking the same thing about her. Michel’s almost-first words were ”I think this whole photo shoot thing is pretty stupid.” And we all laughed, together. Lucky for me, by the end of the session, I had redeemed myself with Michel and he said it “actually was not as bad as he expected” and that he had fun. We laughed, we joked, and we had a great time exploring downtown Boston near the Boston Harbor for their engagement session.
I can’t wait to do their wedding in September at Laudholm Farm in Wells, ME with the talented and way-too-fabulous Paula Marrero!
We started their e-session down at the Harbor of Boston, right next to the Boston Aquarium.
Nina is just too adorable!
I told you she laughed….and this is only the beginning of it.
Overlooking the beautiful Boston Harbor in downtown Boston.
There’s that laugh again…
So Adam likes to point out how I *always* find ways to break the rules. I climbed up on this ledge, not even noticing the sign below, and he snapped this shot of me. I hopped down and he said “SEE! Now I have proof that you are always breaking to rules.” *sigh* It’s a good thing he loves me 🙂
Nina is totally rockin’ the fierce look!
Next we headed over to Mike’s Pastry in downtown Boston to get some cute engagement shots in the Little Italy area down there….fun! While we were down there, we found on of those old pull-down staircases, so we….of course…pulled it down! Pretty sure it was not legal, but as I quickly learned, Michel likes breaking rules even more than I do!
Badda-bing, badda-boom! Now THAT, my friends, is a ring. I am thinking 3ct’s is the new 1ct. No complaints here!
