She moved away, again, and they both dated our other people. Over a year went by…we kept in touch here and there, but it was last year when things around. A little Facebook post from Mike somehow turned into a 4 hour phone conversation, and then daily constant conversations. And that’s when they just knew this time was different. Mike was sure that this was it, and told Audrey that he knew she would be the girl he married, whatever it took. They took monthly cross-country trips until this past February when Audrey was sent on an intricate scavenger hunt all around their hometown to places of significance in their relationship, with the last stop leading to the man of her dreams holding the most beautiful ring she’s ever seen.
Audrey and Mike’s wedding day was the perfect culmination of their journey as a couple. Set high on a hill at the stunning Starting Gate and Great Horse in Massachusetts, they promised forever to each other with all of their closest friends and family by their side. And what a day it was! The weather was perfect – despite it being mid July – and the views were stunning at The Starting Gate.
