What a fine and dandy Thursday this is…minus the rain. These past few days have been a whirlwind with shoots both by me and OF me (yes, OF me), but today is a day that I decided to take a small break from work and sit back and enjoy life….or clean my car and apartment because they both desperately need it. It’s just…..why can’t these things clean themselves?!?! Ugh.

I am not sure where you are but today it is rainy and gloomy in CT, which makes me want to curl up on the couch and read a book. Or stalk wedding blogs. I enjoy both equally as much. I definitely have zero desire to clean. Zip. Null. Zilch.

But I digress.

If you are at a place where it feels natural to do the same, then curl on up and enjoy the beauty that is part 3 of Amber and Jason’s Florida wedding. I may or may not be dreaming of laying poolside as I go get my broom and dustpan… *le sigh*

These girls were way too cute.

This is seriously the family of gorgeous eyes. Just sayin…

Like I said, the family of amazing eyes. He was not too thrilled about posing for a picture with flowers….God forbid anybody might see him holding such a girly thing.

The setting of the ceremony.

As the guests were sitting down waiting, a helicopter came flying in overhead. Everyone started looking up, wondering what was going on, but then the helicopter went out over the lake and everyone went back to sitting….

Until the helicopter rose up over the bushes and flew straight in towards us and landed. Very, very cool.

And out from the helicopter came the groom, his best man, and the pastor. Pretty sure this was the best wedding entrance ever. Definitely one for the books…

Jason getting all James Bond on us. This was his moment to shine and that he did.

Here we go!

This trellis was made by the grooms brother in law. Pretty impressive, if you ask me!

Love that look in Amber’s eyes!

A sand ceremony is quite fitting when the wedding takes place in Florida.

Married!!

Shortly after the ceremony the helicopter took off into the gorgeous Florida sunset.

The image on the left might just be my favorite from the day.

As cocktail hour ended, the guests enjoyed a gorgeous sunset over the lake as they began making their way into the reception tent.

After some reception fun we headed outside for some fireworks…

Amber and Jason, thank you so very very much for allowing me to be a part of your special day. it was truly and honor!! 🙂

  1. In all my years as a Florida hair and makeup artist, I have NEVER seen a helicopter bring in the groom and groomsmen!!! It’s so “CSI Miami-esque”!!! Uber cool! The stunning pictures of the occasion made for breathtaking memories!
