It was intended to be a weekend of R&R, but I don’t know where I got that idea from because the plan was to go to Sesame Place in PA with my. entire. family. I don’t know what part of that equation made me think I’d have any R&R. To be completely honest, it was a weekend of chaos….of hopping in one line to the other, of lost children, processed food, and seeing Elmo enough times to give me nightmares. And, on top of it, the sun was barely out so I didn’t even get a tan. On the last evening of our “vacation” I decided to pass on staying at the hotel with my parents and, instead, went back to my sister and Bill’s so that I could finally have some peace and quiet. Much to my delight, the plan evolved into us taking my nephew with us so that he could sleep in his own bed. And even more to my delight, my parents and the kids ended up going back to Sesame Place (day 4!) all day Monday which left me with nothing to do but spend quality time with my adorable nephew. It’s been a while since I’ve seen him so time spent with this little cuddle-bug was like gold to me. Midday I decided to take him outside for a little mini session, during which he was a total showoff.
My 18 month old nephew:
Love those lashes! From the time he was a newborn it was clear that he had my sisters gorgeous big blue eyes. I love his golden blond hair. What other 18 month old do you know that needs a haircut every 2 weeks?I die. He did this on his own and stayed there for about 10 seconds, his hands perfectly draped around his face. This would be the I’m-going-be-be-2-soon face. The one that like to start screaming matches and thinks it’s funny.Who needs crackers when you have toes?
this makes me SO EXCITED to see the pictures you take of my little nephew/ring bearers at the wedding! HE IS BEAUTIFUL!
He is ADORABLE and absolutely great photos. Great job!
