Jenny + Patrick’s Moraine Farm wedding
They say that you are who you hang out with. And, if that’s true, then what I already knew about Jenny and Patrick became all the more clear to me on their wedding day. Jenny and Patrick’s wedding at Moraine Farm was one where you felt at home. They went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, everyone was well fed, and that everyone was having a blast. And it was obvious in who they chose to stand by their sides for their special day that Jenny and Patrick were the kind of people who were a magnet for those that are like them. Because their bridal party, well, they too were some of the kindest, sweetest, funniest, and genuine people I’ve ever met. And it’s when you meet people like that, that you are reminded that with all that is going on in the world, there are still a few good souls left. People who love wholeheartedly, who laugh until they cry, and who take life one stride at a time all the while making sure they do it alongside the ones they love most.
You guys, thank you so much for having us there for your special day and for making us feel at home!
Thanks, also, to the incredible lineup up vendors who made their wedding at Moraine Farm go off without a hitch!

Jenny and Patrick both got dressed for their wedding at Moraine Farm, in the living room area where the light was divine!
Jenny’s bridesmaids really were the sweetest bridesmaids in the world! I wanted to put them in my pocket and take them home with me. You know, if that wasn’t an entirely creepy thing to do.
I absolutely loved the lace detail not he back of Jenny’s dress!
Jenny, my dear, you are a total knockout!
Love these shots that Rachel grabbed!
I absolutely loved the look on Patrick’s face when he saw Jenny for the first time during their first look
Jenny’s smile is to die for!
I just LOVE these shots that Rachel grabbed!
This may be one of my all-time favorite bridal portraits.
I always know I’m in for a treat when working with Karla Cassidy designs but she totally outdid herself with this wedding. Not only was the Jenny’s bouquet absolutely gorgeous, but her bridesmaids had the most unique and bright bouquets I’ve ever seen.
The grounds at Moraine farm make a perfect backdrop for wedding photos with its gorgeous and perfectly manicured lawns.
Bursting with color!
Clearly, I couldn’t get enough of these flowers. Karla, my friend, you are amazing!
For a couple that absolutely loves nature (they currently live in Colorado), Moraine Farm was the perfect venue for their wedding with it’s lush natural beauty.
The wedding ceremony was supposed to be in one of the little fields at Moraine Farm but right before I started, the heavens broke open and let down some serious rain. This seems to be the theme of all my weddings this year. Luckily, every one of my clients that has happened to has been amazing (since they are, in and of themselves, amazing) and just readjusted accordingly. We packed everyone into the screened in porch at Moraine Farm and there we had an incredibly intimate ceremony.
Married!
I absolutely love how joyful Patrick and jenny look in this image
The rain held up a few short moments after the ceremony and it was just enough for us to grab a few shots before it all started again
I’m totally a sucker for wedding umbrella pictures, but I’d say that Rachel pretty much nailed these ones!
One of the things I love most about shooting a wedding at Moraine Farm is the stunning grounds and gardens there, which make a beautiful backdrop for wedding portraits.
Paula Marrero, one of my absolute favorite wedding planners, was on hand to make sure that Jenny and Patrick’s wedding at Moraine Farm went perfectly. And, to put it mildly, she always lives up to the expectation. I absolutely love working with her and her team!
Jenny made sure that the escort cards continued with her brightly colored wedding palette.
Lately my couples have been adding a really unique element or two to their wedding and I just LOVE it! Jenny and Patrick decided to bring in a beer truck which I thought was a fabulous idea! I’m pretty sure their guests agreed.
Fireside catering did a great job at providing a farm-to-table meal for Jenny and Patrick’s wedding
Although the rain was a real pain in the butt, it made for some pretty amazing an fun shots of people running from the Moraine Farm house to the reception tent.
DJ Raffi was super fun to work with and did a great job at keeping the dance floor packed all night long.
I’m pretty sure that every girl in the world is jealous of the way that Patrick looks at Jenny. 😉
A special toast from jenny’s dad
The DJ played “Freak out”. And Grandma did. Without hesitation.
Patrick’s dad may or may not have been the life of the party. I’ll let you be the judge on that one.
Cakes for Occasions made the cutest, tastiest cupcakes ad pastry display!
Moraine Farm is a seriously beautiful venue for a wedding and I can’t wait to shoot there again!
Gorgeous Alicia Moraine Farm is such a beautiful venue! And those bouquets, oh my!
Beautiful Pictures! Jenny and Patrick look like they can see into each other’s souls!
Hi there – I’m curious to hear about how the grass held up under the tent in the rain! Was the dance floor slippery? Thansk!
