It was a chilly Autumn morning when I met Ally and Christoph at an empty beach on the CT shoreline. They were in town to make some wedding preparations and a sunrise session was the time that it made most sense for us to do their engagement shoot. Before showing up, I was a bit nervous about how they would do with the cold air, but as soon as we started the session, I knew that the entire session would be fantastic. Christoph made sure to pull Ally in close when the wind whipped in off the sea, and they both laughed at the fact that we were standing in freezing temps, pretending like we were on a beach in California. But there was something so romantic about the fact that we were the only ones as far as the eye could see (with the exception of the eventual fisherman) on an open beach, watching the sun come up, and photographing them together.
