Last week I had the INCREDIBLE opportunity of shooting my first military homecoming. This is something that has been on my bucket list for a LONG time, and I was so honored to finally have been able to do one. Bethany and Javier are a couple close to my heart. I lived with Bethany’s family for 2 years when I was in school, and their wedding was one of the first I shot. Needless to say, these guys have a special place in my heart. Bethany contacted me a few moths ago asking if I would be willing to do this and I gladly obliged. Javier was returning from Afghanistan and would be meeting his newborn son for the first time so this homecoming, in particular, was a special one.
