One of the very best parts of what I do is getting to photograph clients over and over throughout the years, as their love and family grows. A couple months ago I flew out to San Francisco to meet Hannah and Jake for their annual anniversary session…except this one was extra special, because it doubled as a maternity shoot. I’ve photographed Hannah in San Francisco two times, and ironically, both times I was in the first trimester of pregnancy myself. It was so special to get to share that time with Hannah, to remind her that she had nothing to fear with birth, and that she looked absolutely glowing as a pregnant woman. I first photograph Hannah and Jake when I did their engagement session years ago, then their wedding, and I’ve had the honor of photographing them both in Florida and San Francisco for their anniversary sessions. One of these days – mark my words – I’m going to do a session of them (now with baby Ollie!) in one of the epic places we visit. Hannah and Jake, like me, love to travel…so it’s bound to happen. What do you say we aim for Italy in 2019, guys? 😉
