Blue is the color of violets in a garden, the perfectly worn denim, deep cascades of ocean and ripened summer berries.  On this day it was the color of the most beautiful canvas for a day of love and celebration. The color of the cloudless sky; stretching for miles and miles above the lush green landscape. Blue was the divinely created ceiling for their wedding ceremony.

Ashley and Dave chose the third weekend of October to get married and, for anyone who knows Connecticut weather, you know that it can be hit or miss that time of year. In fact, the week prior to Ashley and Dave’s Wadsworth Mansion wedding, it was a hot and humid 82 degrees, and the week following their wedding, the temperature plummeted to 32 degrees, offering the first frost of the season. But on their wedding day? It was a perfect 62 and sunny. Complete with blue skies and golden sunshine that warms both the body and soul.

Most brides pray for good weather on their big day, but few are blessed with a day as amazing as that. It was as if God had parted the skies and brought a little piece of heaven down. And for those who know Ashley and Dave’s story, you know that there was, indeed, a piece of heaven shining down on them. The Sun, in all its glory, bathed the lawn in light.  Everything it touched turned to gold. The idyllic conditions set the scene for what lay ahead. A time of joy, romance, fulfilled promises….and an obvious reminder that a very special someone was present with them on their wedding day.

Blue open skies & warm celestial light were so fitting for the bride and groom’s wedding day. The tender love and care Dave had for his bride was captivating. The trust and respect she had in her groom was mesmerizing. They were a perfect example of kindred spirits who had found their destiny in one another. Even the sun and skies knew this to be true.

Ashley and Dave’s Wadsworth Mansion Wedding was stunning. From the beautiful landscape and gardens, to the regal mansion, everything flowed with class and elegance.

There were so many perfect opportunities and moments at this Wadsworth Mansion Wedding, every moment of Ashley and Dave’s wedding was special!

Lyman’s Orchard pumpkins made the cutest name placements, with Sneha Dasgupta Calligraphy, and their jellies were the sought after wedding favor.

The centerpieces and wedding bouquets by Just For You Floral Designs completely enhanced the reception atmosphere to another level, loved them.

CT Wedding Group made a delicious meal and appetizers for Ashley and Dave’s reception. They are, without a doubt, the best caterers in CT.

Powerstation Events like always had everyone dancing and excited all night long, with the DJ and mood setting uplighting.
